Job Description: Top-ranked Ohio law firm is seeking a Director of Business Development. Manage business development initiatives by identifying, qualifying, and helping to close new business deals.Position is resident in the firm's Cleveland Office.Assist in sustaining the firm’s reputation for quality, expertise, and innovation.Support business development activities in collaboration with the Marketing team.Utilize essential tools such as CRM and pipeline management software.Salary and benefits are appropriately commensurate.All applications will be kept in the strictest of confidence.
Job Requirements: 6+ years of experience in professional services sales, with law firm experience preferred but not required Prior experience managing and collaborating with cross-functional team members, staff and/or interns Knowledge and experience with CRM, sales pipeline software and sales leads tools Proven results in identifying sales prospects and securing business, preferably in a professional services environment Experience with cross-selling initiatives Proven leader with demonstrated success leading large-scale, client-focused business development initiatives Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HubSpot Excellent organizational and communication skills Creative and high energy; results and detail-oriented
