Junior Paralegal/Case Assistant 

The San Francisco office of a preeminent law firm is seeking an Entry-Level Paralegal/Case Assistant to join their rapidly growing team. The group is actively searching for applicants who are confident that they are capable of great things and are comfortable training intelligent individuals with limited prior experience.

Compensation & Benefits

Job Description:
  • Assist paralegals with survey reviews
  • Prepare title tracking charts
  • Draft various spreadsheets for all document tracking
  • Correspond with the title company for document delivery
  • Review lien searches and chart results for attorney review
  • Print and prepare title commitments and pertinent title documents for paralegal review
  • Date and scan final documents
  • Upload and manage documents on iManage software
  • Prepare label and track package delivery via FedEx
  • Prepare cover letters to be sent with outgoing packages/binders
  • Assemble final documents, ensure all exhibits and schedules are attached
  • Prepare hard copy binders and packages to be mailed to relevant parties
  • Track deal statuses to ensure delivery of all final trailing documents
  • Prepare signature pages/Prepare signature page tracking chart and update accordingly
  • Manage client-specific databases
  • Check documents for accuracy (i.e. allocated loan amounts, borrowers’ names, etc.)
  • Draft and send PSA Notices
  • Misc document review and any assistance requested by paralegals and attorneys
  • Monitor deal data sites for daily updates, print documents, and save into iManage
Job Requirements:

Education, Work Experience, Skills

  • The ideal Junior Paralegal candidate is a college graduate with a strong interest in the legal profession with the ability to commit to the position for at least two years
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary with the ability to interact professionally with staff, attorneys, paralegals, clients, and vendors
  • The successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as with a team, have an acute attention to detail, and be able to multi-task and prioritize while working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment


  • Strong technical skills are required, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and a Document Management System
  • Knowledge of iManager, Westlaw, Livenote, Concordance, LegalKey, Relativity, Compulaw, or Sharepoint is a plus
