Summary:
Litigation Paralegal
The Litigation Paralegal supports global law firm’s dynamic litigation practice groups, including assisting with all facets of the litigation process. The preferred candidate will be able to work autonomously and have the ability and demonstrated track record providing case management on large complex matters, with a strong proficiency in motion practice, e-discovery, and deposition, and trial prep. Job Description: Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Position Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage all phases of discovery
- Assist with various court filings at the Appellate, Federal, and State court levels
- Proficiency with the mechanics of e-filing and e-file with courts and agencies
- Maintain and organize case files
- Conduct factual and legal research
- Proofread, cite check, and shepardize briefs and legal memoranda
- Manage case calendar and electronic case rooms
- Other tasks as assigned by practice group or paralegal management

Job Requirements: Skills & Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of substantive work experience as a paralegal
- Available to work overtime, as required
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with personnel and to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly
- Proven ability to take initiative and, as needed, direct projects autonomously
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, Concordance, and Relativity
Preferred:
- Previous mid-to-large size law firm experience.
