Summary:

A preeminent law firm in Redwood City is seeking an IP Patent Litigation Paralegal to help support lawyers and professionals managing significant litigations in federal courts throughout the US. Prior federal litigation experience is an absolute must; intellectual property experience is strongly preferred.
This position will allow for in-office flexible hours, Monday through Friday.

Job Description:

• ECF filing and service of federal court documents
• Maintaining and updating case calendars and ongoing docket of litigation deadlines
• Managing intake, maintenance and archiving of client files
• Word processing and cite checking of legal documents
• Coordinating with attorneys on document production and review processes, including acting as interface with e-discovery vendors and review platform providers

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of three-years federal court experience in a law firm environment
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word (ideally also Excel and PowerPoint)
• Reliability in being on the job consistently during scheduled hours
• Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed
• Experience with e-discovery and document production
• Paralegal certificate or a degree from an accredited college
• Experience with intellectual property law (preferred)
