Job Description:

Will report to our CFO and will be responsible for directing all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting. You will also supervise the accounting department personnel and direct all aspects of human resource activities.

Coordinate monthly financial close, prepare and review financial statements
Coordinate, prepare and review monthly financial budgets
Analyze company’s financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets
Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking
Review departmental expenses with department managers on a monthly basis
Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management
Develop and coordinate all relationships with lending/financial institutions
Develop and maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting
Ensure records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Assist senior management in financial planning, budgeting, and results management
Ensure that manufactured goods are being costed correctly
Review and apply manufacturing overhead to manufactured goods
Coordinate, prepare and review monthly key performance management reports
Coordinate and/or prepare tax schedules, returns and information
Manage relationships with insurance providers and ensure compliance
Manage all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property and other applicable taxes
Manage cash flow
Other finance, human resource, and administrative duties as required

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required (Master’s ideal)7-10+ years of managerial accounting and financial management experience5 + years of experience with ERP systems and knowledgeable in transaction processing, postings, and querying3 + years in manufacturing costing and application of overhead3 + years of working with wholesale or manufacturing3 + years managing human resource activities
