Summary:
Established Wichita Company looking for experience Workers’ Compensation Specialist. Individual must have strong knowledge of claims handling and case management.
Job Description:
- Ability to manage and communicate concerns while assisting to formulate a plan to achieve the most favorable claim resolution.
- Good understanding of the workers’ compensation laws in a variety of states.
- Assists company in finding solutions to prevent accidents through reminders of best practices and procedures.
- Provides regular reports and updates as needed, to company directors and for other legal requests.
- Assists department in carrying out various human resources safety programs and procedures for all company employees.
- Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database as needed.
- Ensures compliance with ADA, OSHA, workers compensation, and other labor laws.
- Will work with all levels of employees as needed to file and manage claims to the best possible outcome.
- Understands the processes to get an injured worker back to work allowing for all necessary services for best possible outcome.
- Acts as a liaison between the company, insurance adjusters, medical and legal professionals.
- Acts as an advocate for complex claims, demonstrating advanced problem resolution skills.
